Ulrich Zahnert

Summary

Ulrich is an experienced general manager working in the High-Tech industry for more than twenty years. During his career, he has worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as for start-ups at various management levels. Working and living in the US for many years, as well as many business engagements in Asia and Europe, developed his intercultural awareness. Working as a project manager for many years, he successfully lead numerous hardware and software projects in Asia, Europe and in the US. Managing the Philips / NXP wireless LAN program lead to numerous design wins within Asia. Working within international teams and multimillion Dollar/Euro budgets are as familiar to him as working with lead customers during project execution. Ulrich’s pragmatic and structured management approach, as well as his clear communication style, are greatly appreciated by customers and employees alike.

Ulrich graduated from the Technical University of Dresden in 1994 with an Engineering degree in Electronics. In 2011 Ulrich cofounded Opis Technology as a partner within a group of like-minded entrepreneurial engineers and business persons. He is leading the business development and chairing the board. Since 2012 he is working as Interim Manager for the consulting branch of Opis Technology.
